Bonart

Bonart landing page

Bonart is a company that wanted a black and white design. The page is a simple marketing piece, with few buttons or prompts to take action. I used black with subtle white line art in the backgrounds to create a smooth and textured look. They wanted a sophisticated look and feel.

Black and white

The page uses black and white colors to create a strong contrast, which helps highlight the message.

Vibrant blog article images

Since the page itself is mostly black and white with subtle wave patterns, the blog gave an opportunity to inject some bright vibrant colors to the experience.

Hero Video

The main goal of the hero section was to show a movie that was made. To enhance it, I added a slight shadow to the video and made a circular button for playing the text.

Utilizing grid columns.

By positioning the subhead in a staggered manner, it catches the eye. Then, arrange the three pillars upright in a column to the right for easy reading.

Crisp serif typeface on a matte black background.

Use of a subtle wave brings attention to the head and subhead.

Video pops.

Using a shadow on a dark background gives an ever so subtle lift to the video itself. A clean play button in white is added to the video.

Large brightly colored images used for blog articles.

An opportunity to bring some bright color and draw the user into the featured articles area. The section pops well, after the above designs being black and white. The footer is a matte black with subtle wave pattern to flow the info from the left to the contact info to the right.
